POSITION INFORMATION
Sales Executive
Reports To: Joseph Barry, President
Department: Sales
Position Overview
The Sales Executive position is responsible for identifying and developing leads that generate new sales opportunities for air and ocean import/export shipments and brokerage.
Key Accountabilities
Sales:
Cultivate new and existing customers creating a strong sales pipeline:
- Develop a lead action plan and monitor the success of the plan
- Develop customer action plans to identify and secure additional areas of business for existing customers – increase retention and shipment frequency
- Develop plans to identify new customer segments and in conjunction with the President and Director of Operations, identify ways to target key customers
Service:
In partnership with the Logistics Coordinators, facilitate the sales process through project management, tracking open shipments, issue resolution, and overall customer service and support
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Minimum of 3 years’ experience with sales development and execution and demonstrated success achieving sales goals, Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree, Experience with Ocean and Air Import/Export Sales
POSITION INFORMATION
Logistics Coordinator
Reports To: Liz Barry, COO
Department: Operations
Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator position is responsible for the coordination of air and ocean import/export shipments. This includes, but is not limited to, opening files, internal documentation, assisting customers, arranging deliveries, processing invoices, and responding to overseas offices.
Key Accountabilities
Service:
- Provide timely information to customers regarding their shipments; including estimates, shipment tracking, and delivery notifications.
- Document, investigate, and resolve all customer concerns with immediacy.
- Proactively manage shipments through timely communication with service providers and overseas agents.
- Ensure all customer specific account requirements are completed according to customer specifications.
Operational Policies and Procedures:
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor customer shipments.
- Accurate and timely data entry for ISF, AES, and Customs Entry.
- Partner and communicate with the Sales Department to respond efficiently to customer requests, handle and follow-up on shipment tracking, and provide status updates regarding any outstanding issues.
- Ensure compliance with CAF Worldwide Inc. policies and procedures including all system requirements. Adhere to all U.S. and government shipping regulations.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma, minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service position in a related field, proven strong written and verbal communication skills, proven strong organization and time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines, strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree with a focus on Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation, Experience with Import/Export shipments, both air and ocean, experience with Questa Web

Customs Entry Specialist

Department: Operations
Position Overview
The Customs Entry Specialist position is responsible for the coordination of air and ocean import shipments. This includes, but is not limited to, opening files, transmitting customs entries, internal documentation, assisting customers, arranging deliveries and processing invoices.
Key Accountabilities
Operational Policies and Procedures:
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor customer shipments.
- Accurate and timely data entry for ISF, AES, and Customs Entry via ACE. Ensure shipment release by following-up as necessary on all required Customs documents, exams, and FDA documentation.
- Respond efficiently to customer requests, handle and follow-up on shipment tracking, and complete invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with CAF Worldwide Inc. policies and procedures including all system requirements. Adhere to all U.S. and government shipping regulations.
